
Born and raised in Scotland, Joe Grant received a Masters of Divinity from Catholic Theological Union, Chicago. He has served as a minister in Europe, the U.S. and Latin America. As Director of Programs for JustFaith Ministries, he created nationally recognized processes for youth and adults, and in 2004 received the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry award for Gospel Values of Peace and Justice. Joe is a co-founder of CrossRoads retreat center in inner-city Louisville, where he lives with his wife and family. Recently he has become the Spiritual Director for the newly established Holy Hills Hermitage in rural Kentucky. Joe has authored numerous books and articles on scripture, eco-justice and spirituality.
Joe currently serves on the spiritual direction team of the St. Luke Center in Louisville, KY. In addition, he spends his time writing, leading retreats locally, and offering spiritual direction.
